2. Purpose of obtaining and holding personal data

2.1 Igloo will process your personal data for the following reasons:

2.1.1 Order processing and contractual obligations – we will process your personal data to      prepare, receive and carry out the purchase agreement(s) as agreed upon.

2.1.2 Back Office Administration – Igloo process personal information for administrative purposes such as managing and processing invoices.

2.1.3 Communication & Marketing – we process your personal data for the purposes of communication, customer services / support, to carry out marketing activities and share information about our offers and services.  

3. What information we hold and what we do with it

3.1 We collect several pieces of data including :-

  • Contact details – name, address, e-mail, telephone number etc
  • Order details – date and time of purchase, order status, order amount, order price, financial details etc
  • Marketing details – unless you have opted out of this.

4. Lawful basis for processing your data

4.1  There are four legal grounds that Igloo will process your personal data under as follows:-

  • For the performance of completing our contract with you – without this data we are unable to process your order and fulfil our side of the contract.
  • For compliance with a legal obligation – such as fiscal and other legal obligations
  • For legitimate interests pursued by us – for examples being able to maintain a lasting relationship with the customer, offer products and services, and to be able to defend ourselves in legal proceedings. 
  • Or your consent – to note, you are able to withdraw your consent at anytime as detailed below.

5. Who else do we provide your personal information to?

5.1 We may share your personal data with other departments, such as order processing, finance etc.

5.2 We may provide your personal data to comply with a statutory obligation or court order

5.3 We may need to share your data with a third-party supplier of goods and the courier  

5.4 Your data will not be shared outside the EU without your consent

6. Payment services

6.1 When you purchase a product you will have to provide your payment details via the Igloo website payment section or via telephone

6.2 Those payment details and personal data maybe collected by the payment provider. The payment provider is liable and responsible for the data they collect from you.

7. How do we store your data?

7.1 Your personal data will be removed when your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy statement.

7.2 There are instances where some of your data maybe stored longer in line with legal obligations under certain institutions.

To be able to complain to the ICO if you feel your details are not correct, if they are not being used in a way that you have given permission for, or if they are being stored when they don’t have to be.
